October 2022 Devotional

We as a nation are in some difficult times.  Neighbors are pitted against one another, because we have opposing beliefs in many areas of our lives.  I have always felt that you could disagree agreeably.  We can get along if we focus on what we do agree on.  We are a nation built by many people who were and still are very different.  There is a message in the Bible that urges us to be a light in these dark times.

“The light shines in the darkness.  But the darkness has not overcome the light.”  John 1:5 (NIrV)

Let’s determine to be a light in the darkness as we work together to solve problems that we can all agree on.
