December 2021 Devotional

Starting in 2020, many of us have had one tragedy after another.  Loved ones have died during the pandemic, people lost their businesses, homes, relationships and sometimes their own selves.  This has been a time of great testing for us as a nation and it is still continuing on some fronts.

“But God comforts those who are sad…”
II Corinthians 7:6 (NIrV)

When your back is up against the wall and you feel like the battle is lost, remember this verse.  God will comfort you in every trial and sadness.  Bow your knee to Him and ask for His help and turn your sorrow or trials over to Him.  You will not be disappointed.  You were never made to carry this load alone.  Put your load on the strong shoulders of God.
